So for me October is all about PYO Pumpkin Patches!! It’s become a traditional day out every year in our family and something I really look forward to! I’m always so surprised when people tell me they’ve never been to a pick your own patch and Undley Farm is one I highly recommend.
Half an hour from Bury St Edmunds or an hour from Norwich (definitely worth the drive) Undley is situated in Mildenhall, Suffolk and is set on a 50 acre picturesque site.
The patch is open every weekend throughout October and is free to get into with plenty of free parking spaces, there are additional costs for the attractions and of course the pumpkins that you pick which range from £1 to £6 for the biggest. It’s easy to make a whole day of it with all the fun things to do including face painting, arts and crafts, hot drinks, BBQ food, donuts, milkshakes, bouncy castles, stalls with lots of cute little bits and bobs, maize maze, donkey rides, hay bales to climb…SO. MUCH. FUN!
Take your wellies and some cash for those goodies and activities.
