The ‘Bathroom Box’ of dreams…

When I visited Heritage Beauty and Wellbeing for the first time just over a year ago I knew this would be my new ‘go to’ for all things pamper. From hair removal, nails, massages and facials to just popping in for a chat with the warmest bunch of ladies, they do it all and it’s definitely a new found Happy Place for me!

Tucked away amongst the most tranquil surroundings by Nowton park, a mere five minutes drive from Bury St Edmunds town center. The incredible Manor House imposes its elegance and as you walk across the charming stoney path you instantly feel relaxed before you have even entered!

Heritage Beauty and Wellbeing have recently introduced the new Bathroom Box experience which I couldn’t wait to try as soon as I heard about it. This experience involves collecting a bag of beauty products from the venue, all of which are used during treatments there, for you to try at home. Upon collecting the bag you will be given a little insight into the products and provided with some information to help make your experience the best for you and tailored to your skin type.

As a self confessed make up and beauty junkie I am always on hunt for products that make a real difference to my skin and this ‘try before you buy’ experience really is the perfect way to do so without fully committing to buying a product you just don’t like or yourskin doesn’t agree with. It really is a wonderful idea and once you have found your perfect matches you can pop in and purchase them there if you so wish! There is absolutely no pressure to buy, but after trying them myself I definitely have a wish list that I might just give to my husband for Christmas present hints!!!

With the festive season fast approaching this really is the perfect time to try the Bathroom Box for yourself.

When I got home from collecting the bag of goodies I couldn’t wait to get the girls to bed so I could really give myself a ‘pamper night’ and do my own product research while trying them.

I had so much Fun with this experience and gave myself and my skin some much needed TLC that I haven’t done in a long long time! It really was such a treat and I looked forward to the next 2 nights of doing the same to really give each product a good test!

During my time with the Bathroom Box I discovered some absolute must haves and I thought I’d breakdown a few of my favourites…

The ‘Precleanse balm’ – This product instantly went on my wish list. You literally feel your make up melting off as you apply it and really helped my skin feel so clean and fresh after following on with the ‘Special Cleansing gel‘.

*Heritage are currently GIVING one of these away (worth £44) when you purchase 2 full sized products!

The ‘Special Cleansing gel’ – using this product directly after the precleanse balm left my face thoroughly clean without drying out my skin and the spa like scent really made my skin feel like it had been given the spa treatment.

The ‘Daily microfoliant’ – this gentle rice based exfoliant is without a doubt the best facial exfoliating product I’ve ever used! I thought I had a favourite until I used this – it didn’t feel ‘scratchy’ on my skin but left it feeling so incredibly soft, I used this everyday during my morning shower and definitely think it made a difference to how my make up went on!

The ‘Multi-active Toner’ I’ve never really used a toner but after reading and seeing the benefits this has totally converted me! Minimising pores, helping skin to absorb moisture and really hydrating my skin is of course amazing but once I discovered it also can be used as a setting spray I added it to my wish list too!

The ‘Multivitamin Power Firm’ is a firming and line reducing eye cream which unlike most creams didn’t aggravate my sensitive eye area. My eyes felt refreshed and my under eye concealer sat better on my skin and didn’t crease as much after using this. A new ‘firm’ (😉) favourite!

And finally…

The ‘Active Moist’ – this lightweight, oil free moisturiser provided perfect hydration which absorbed quickly and didn’t leave my skin feeling greasy! This was ideal for the busy school run mornings when I don’t have much time to wait for moisturiser to dry before applying make up! My skin felt hydrated all day too!

If you are local to Bury St Edmunds and want to try some new products or update your skincare routine I definitely recommend the Bathroom Box experience. The lovely and very knowledgable therapists at Heritage will help guide you through the products if you’re a novice to this brand like I was.

I’m so excited about starting a new skin care regime and taking a bit more time for me. I really did have so much fun with my own little ‘Mini Spa at home’. I felt so sad giving the box back 😂

Thank you to the total babe that is Rebecca and all the lovely ladies at Heritage! You’ll definitely be seeing lots more of me now!
